cattle是单数还是复数

cattle是单复数同形，单数和复数都是cattle。当cattle用作主语的时候，句子的谓语动词一般用复数。cattle是集合名词，常many，few，these，those等连用，不可以加不定冠词a，词尾也不可加s。短语：live cattle活牛；music cattle音乐之牛；kittle cattle难应付的人；replacement cattle后备牛。
